How to setup Animal World (Documentation)

Animal world is a kid’s learning application where kid’s can learn and gain more knowledge about animal by watching image and spelling of animal’s and listen the proper pronunciation. It’s very easy and fun to learn by using this application that’s why this application is a high demanding project to lunch in market and being a scope to earn with a accuracy and setup a successful start-up.

So, Let’s know, How to setup the ANIMAL WORLD android application.

1. How to Download & Install Android Studio ?

Visit Android studio’s official website to download Android studio.

After Completing the download process then install that .exe file on your pc/laptop by using proper installation method. (Installation depends upon your pc’s hardware’s property)

2. How to import your existing project on Android studio?

Step 1: Open android studio, then click on open bottom.

Step 2: Find your project path on android studio then click ok to import your project into android studio.

After successful import you are enable to do change on existing code. So let’s discuss how to do necessary changes to re-skin and ready your project.

3. How to change package name?

The selected application id is called as package name. You have to change the package name according to you but their will be some condition.

Condition 1: Their will be no space in between package name.

Condition 2: Package name should be unique and different from other application which are already available on play store.

Step 1: Go to gradle script then choose build.gradle to change the package name.

After changing the package name you have sync the project to complete the package name changing process.

4. How to change the logo?

Step 1: Go to mipmap section on android studio.

Step 2: Right click on “mipmap” tap then move your mouse curser to “new” and choose “image asset” from drop down menu.

Step 3: Then configure image asset popup will shown.

Step 4: Then choose your logo file from preferred path.

Step 5: After choosing logo file then go to background layer option to choose logo background colour.

Step 6: Then click next & then click on finish button to save the logo.

Step 7: Follow the same process again for 2nd time. To complete the logo changing process.

5. How to change Splash screen?

Step 1: Go to layout section on android studio and open “splash.xml” by double click on it.

Step 2: Design your splash screen and save it on below marked folder on project file.

Step 3: Then put your file name on “splash.xml” file as per below screenshot.

Now your splash screen got changed successfully.

6. How to change admob details?

Step 1: Generate app Id and Ad credentials from admob official site and paste the details on “string.xml” as per given screenshot.

7. How to Change App Name?

Go to “string.xml” and change the app name as per showing instruction.

8. How to Change App Colour?

Step 1: Go to value then choose “colors.xml”.

Step 2: Then change the colour according to your choice.

9. How to Add More Animal Images & Names?

Step 1: Add animal images on below marked folder on your project file.

Step 2: Add game name on “constant.java” as per given example.

10. How to Build Signed APK/BUNDLES?

Step 1: Go to “build” section in the upper side menu of the android studio. Then click on “Generate signed bundle/APK”.

Step 2: Then choose “android app bundle” and click on “next”.

Step 3: After clicking “next” the “Generate signed bundle or apk” popup will appear where android studio ask the required details to generate signed bundle.

As you are generating a new project that’s why you need to create new key store as per below screenshot.

Step 4: Fill the required details to generate the key store.

Step 5: After successful generate new key store file then proceed further to complete build signed bundle Process by filling the required details as per below screenshot.

Step 6: After putting the required details click on “next” button. Then the next page will appear where android studio ask release option to complete the release process.

Step 7: Choose “release” option & Click “finish” button to generate signed bundle apk.
